Lilia Marie Ellis is a writer and PhD student at the University of Chicago. She is a Pushcart and Best-of-the-net nominated poet rooted in the Modernist tradition, and also writes essays on literature, current events, and spirituality. Her academic work focuses on human fragility and medieval women’s theology.
